New this year, class options are available for older students who have completed calculus. Note your interest in the post calculus opportunity in your camper’s application.
Dining: This year, meals will be outside of tuition costs. If you prefer the ease of a meal plan at the dining hall, and will be staying on campus, you are still free to choose the dining hall option from UNM (cost is roughly $24/day). In order to provide time for campers to dine out elsewhere and/or take some personal time to relax (or run around) and digest the morning’s material, we will be providing a longer, unsupervised break around the lunch hour. We will provide information on potential dining options as well.
Lodging: In an effort to focus on the academics of the camp we are hoping to phase out the need to allocate so much of our faculty and staff time to coordinating lodging. This year will be somewhat of a pilot year for this approach, and we openly encourage comments and feedback. UNM is a great place to try this approach because the dorms are also reserved individually, just as you would reserve a hotel using a block rate for a wedding, conference, etc. We anticipate also having a room block at a nearby hotel that has a free shuttle running to the university.
A deposit of $500 will be due two weeks after notification of admittance. (Details forthcoming.)
